Fault in our Education System

Albert Einstein once said everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its capability to climb a tree it will live its whole life believing he’s stupid.

Today we are talking about our weak outdated education system which needs to be altered. Today we are living in a society where millions of children are going to school and being made a robot. School’s these days are not only making fish climb tree but also climb down. We need an answer from the school “Do you find that fun?” “Do you realize how many kids relate to that fish?” swimming upstream in class. Never finding their gifts thinking they are stupid, believing they are useless. Well the time has come where we don’t need any more excuse and I accuse modern educational system for killing creativity, individuality, being intellectually abusive. School is an ancient institution that has out lived his usage and I will prove it.

Cars of now vs cars 150 years back

In literally more than a decade nothing has changed.

Yet our schools claim to prepare students for future, but with evidence like this I must ask whether our schools are preparing students for future or past? I did a background check and found that you were made to train workers to work in factories, which explains why you make children sit in straight rows nice and neat, tell them sit and raise your hand when you want to speak. Give them a short time to eat and make them think for eight hours a day, and make them compete for grade “A” which merely describes product quality like “A” grade meat.

Classrooms of now vs 150 years back( hardly any change)

We all have a past and I am no Gandhi but today we don’t need human zombie robots. The world has progressed and now we need people, who think creatively, inventively, independently with the ability to connect. See every scientist will tell you no two brains are the same and every parent will two or more children will confirm that claim. So please explain why children get treated like a cookie cutter frame or a snap-back hats. Given that one size fits all craps, similarly if a doctor prescribe the exact same medicine to all its patients the result would be tragic so many people would get sick. Yet when it comes to school this is exactly what happens an “Educational Malpractice” where one teacher stands in front of forty kids with each one having different strength, different needs, different gifts, different dreams and schools teach them at same time in a same way, that’s horrific.

I mean teachers have the most important job on the planet yet they are under paid. No wonder so many students are short changed, let’s be honest teachers should earn same as doctors, because doctor can do heart surgery where a teacher can reach to the heart of a kid and allow him to truly live. See teachers are heroes and often get blamed, but they are not the problem they work in a system without many options or rights. Curriculums are created by policy makers most of which have never taught a day in their live, just obsessed with standardized tests. They think bubbling in a multiple choice question will determine success, that’s outlandish. In fact these test are too crude to be used and should be abandoned, don’t take my word for it, take Fredrick J Kelly the man who invented standardized test who said and I quote “These tests are too crude to be used and should be abandoned”. If we continue walking on this path the results will be lethal. If we can customize healthcare, cars and facebook pages then it is our duty to do the same for our educational system to upgrade and change it.

When we have upcoming methods of learning like Khan Academy and Udacity then why should the schools be the same.

  1. Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the pictures on this blog
loading? I’m trying to determine if its a problem on my end
or if it’s the blog. Any feed-back would be greatly appreciated.

  2. No one wanted to play because of it. About five
minutes later, the red mist started forming into a
body, with thin cute legs followed by flared waist.
